Gloster clubs around the world may be listed as GFCCI Recognised Clubs. Recognition is granted through the relevant GFCCI Councillor, who confirms that the club actively promotes the Gloster Fancy within its country or club.

Recognised clubs are included in the GFCCI International Register of Gloster Clubs, helping to create a global network that connects breeders and organisations dedicated to the advancement of the Gloster Canary.

GFCCI Recognised Shows

Clubs organising exhibitions that include Gloster classes may also apply for
GFCCI Recognised Show status through their national GFCCI Councillor.

Recognised shows may be listed in the GFCCI International Show Calendar, allowing breeders and enthusiasts worldwide to follow and support Gloster events across different countries.

Promoting the Gloster Fancy Worldwide

Through its network of councillors, recognised clubs, and recognised shows, the GFCCI aims to:

  • encourage international cooperation
  • promote the recognised Gloster standard
  • support clubs and breeders worldwide
  • celebrate the Gloster Fancy at exhibitions across the globe.
Recognition by the GFCCI does not constitute affiliation or membership fees, but serves to acknowledge and promote organisations that contribute to the continued success of the Gloster Fancy.

GFCCI Recognised Show Scheme

1. Communication through the Councillor

A club wishing its show to be recognised by GFCCI must communicate through the GFCCI councillor representing that country or club.

2. Requirements for Recognition

To qualify as a
GFCCI Recognised Show, the club should:

  • include Gloster classes in its schedule
  • judge the birds according to the GFCCI standard
  • provide show results after the event
  • promote the GFCCI recognition in the show schedule and poster

3. Benefits to the Club

Recognised shows may receive:

  • Recognition is FREE
  • listing of the GFCCI Judges Panel
  • permission to use the title “GFCCI Approved logo”
  • promotion through GFCCI media
  • Listing on the GFCCI website
This gives prestige to the club & shows worldwide.
